Bike is newer than 90. 90 had a different frame. It's at least a 92 but I think it might be even newer.

Looked at the serial number on the drop out it says 0891....
Then M1 under So it's a 91

Actually looks older then wat it is, no cable runners, single bolt pull brake not like a u or v brake and the tubes ain't fat. Thought it might have been earlier then 91 but nope it's a 91

8 is August. 91 is the year. Just the manufacturing date. They started making them early just like cars. It can't be a 91 though because the frame was different. For 92 they changed it back to look like the older ones. My friend still has his all OG 92. I also have a pro series dated 8-91 that is a 92 model and there is also another one for sale (mach one) dated 8-91. He's selling it as a 91 but it clearly is a 92. The 91's had seat stays that came up in front of the seat post tube.
