Sure Rick! I should be able to fit 5 bikes in the trunk, 5 on the roof and 5 in the back seat lol
If only I had a trailer hitch on the Chevelle I could borrow my neighbor's trailer big_smile

Any idea how many bikes you can bring? Is there a swap?

Sounds like you can show off as many bikes as you want and it says it's free.
This is from the Facebook page:
"This is a bike showoff/swap meet for bikes of the 70s, 80s, and 90s! This event will be happening at Spring Slam car & truck show"

Awesome, thanks!

Re: North Carolina Riders

I finished a bike a few weeks ago and have a few others I'd like to take. I don't have a truck so I'm trying to figure out how to transport them.

I had a good time too. I think it was close to an OS BMX takeover. I think I heard next year they are doing awards for the bikes.

Whose yellow and gray Haro is this?
That bike is exactly like the last BMX bike I owned when I was young. I left it in my mom's garage. In the mid 90's I pulled it out and sold it to a co-worker.
Mine was exactly the same bike.
Very cool. cool

Very cool indeed. I do not know who owns that bike.

Re: North Carolina Riders

Very cool pictures, Brian!

Hope everyone here is doing well! I wanted to share something with this group.

At practice a couple of weeks ago, Mike King asked my thoughts on if an old school show would go over well at the 2024 Worlds in Rock Hill.  Obviously I enthusiastically said yes, and we had a short conversation about it.  He said he would have to put out bids to hire someone to organize it and would try to bring in riders from back in the day like Stu and others.

I don't know much about how to put together anything like that, but I figured I'd fill everyone local here in on the conversation at least.  I think it would be a great thing to add to Worlds week, and with the right promotion it could draw in a lot of folks from all over.

Any thoughts, ideas, contacts I should pass along to Mike to help make it happen would be cool.
