1980 Diamond Back Large Pro

BLUE and GOLD never gets OLD

This all started with a powdered red frame that I got.. Took it down to bare metal and had it done up in a custom Hawaiian Blue along with the Arayas 7 C's to match.. All laced to mint gold HF Suzues and gold nipples.. Black Stamped DB knobbies in a fat/skinny combo for tires.. Custom DB valve caps. Gold MX levers and Dia Compe 890's with some NOS DC pads to stop.. Unknown made brakelines off some OS road bike, Polished set of Sugino 170mm Diamondback cranks with NOS Sugino dust caps, NOS Sugino 44t, NOS MKS Diamondback pedals, KMC Chain, NOS Suntour seat clamp, DB seat redecaled with gold and silver allen guts, Polished Sugino DB stem with gold bolts, NOS Suntour headlock, A'ME Rounds for grips, Diamondback Pro bars.. Haro made Diamondback number plate, custom pads by Esemdesign. Decals by Retrospectbmx.

Super fun build and love the way it turned out.. hope you enjoy it as much as I do..

Re: 1980 Diamond Back Large Pro

That is one sick bike. Maybe the best looking racer I've seen. I thought I was done building bikes untill I saw this one and now my wife is gonna kill me. Instant Fave and Diamondback all the way!
