Great score, well done.  After years in the hobby I'm still yet to find anything on council clean up days sad

Re: 1985 Mongoose Expert

Nice goose, as a suggestion(if ya care to or not).
You may want to take the rest of the anno off the sides of your wheels and just make the front and rear rims "shiny sides". wink

I'm looking for the following frames, frame & forks or completes by BMX products:
MotoTrac (nickle or chrome), Racer-X or a Super-X (with the double gussets).
Thanks wink

Re: 1985 Mongoose Expert

Suggestion taken into consideration.  Man, it took me about 18 years and 4 bikes to get them to look like that!!  For me it is simple nostalgia that makes me keep them that way,  and about 1 million brake applications...
Cheers, Dave.

Okay I got it, no problem. wink
You've got history from yourself creating those brake rubs!
That's way cool

Re: 1985 Mongoose Expert

Took this bike for the Sydney OZBMX.com.au ride last Sat March the 3rd.  Bike went well, great blokes, a bit of rain, enough said.

Re: 1985 Mongoose Expert

Took her out on the Sydney ride with the boys yesterday.  33 year old yellow label comp IIIs crapped themselves-both of them. Needed a new tyre and tube half way thru ride to finish off with the boys. Top day yet again with a great bunch of blokes. Peace.

Bob Sepping: 1943 – 14th October, 2015. To the legend behind Universe Cycles, Parramatta: I thank you for your patience for all the bicycle questions I asked you in the 30 odd years knowing you, and for the stories you shared with me from your past. Take care and rest in peace.. P.S around 1/2 of my collection passed through your stores, mate.
