Re: Who are the true early mid-school collectors out there?

i seem to have more mid school then i thought if it starts at 87.

i personally think of midschool from a design perspective over a given year ... canti brakes, threadless forks, larger pegs, big tube alloy, multi piece bars, etc.

Rubicon is one of my faves also... I am building a custom version with the same geo, but it will have a longer TT and V-brakes and 1-1/8 HT.

Here's one of my projects. 1994 Dirt Bike. I'm the original owner, still collecting the parts to build it exactly like I had it in 1994.

There is a clear brake in technology seperating midschool.  Not only the brakes, threadless headsets, progress in fork construction, companies really started to use high end butted tubes, and aluminum becomes big time

I think sometime in the future, anything aluminum becomes mid school as all the major manufactures move back towards steel for it's superior durability and feel.
