It's a prototype, once we sell out of our other bikes (the article one) we will be making these in addition to our first frame. We have all kinds of cool things on the horizon, keep checking the site for updates.

Re: 2012 Genuine Bicycle Products Article Two 26

For many reasons, we're using the same jig to make these frames as the Article One frames, we can't alter the length of the loop tail, the dropouts, or much of anything but the length of the top tube on our jig. To make changes means a new jig and a different run of loops and drop outs, and connecting bracket pieces. We are now having our bracketry lazer cut for a better fit and finish, and the more of these we make the less expensive it gets, to make a one off to appease one or a few people would be very costly. Custom one-off frames by most builders are in the 1200-1600 dollar range, our frames are in the 5-600 dollar range and are a production run, albeit a small one. This removes the option of frame geometry alterations without incurring a greatly increased cost.  I hope you understand that we cannot be all things to all people and one frame design or set of seat tube, head tube, and stay lengths and angles will not be a perfect for every rider, we build a very stout bike that is very stable and handles well for it's intended purpose. We do plan on altering the size of the seat tube diameter to 25.4 to accommodate the use of a layed back seatpost  and then you may get your weight far enough over the rear wheel to hold a wheelie till the end of time. Thanks for your understanding. Feel free to ask questions if you have any.
