Re: NFL
I guess if the Jets get to the playoffs and the Packers don't, we can say the Packers did the wrong thing. BF is a very competitive player and he will impact the Jets play this season. Players will have more confidence thinking they actually have a shot with BF on the team.

I'm pretty confident in saying the Packers did the wrong thing before a down is even played. Favre carried that team to the playoffs last year, and even if he hadn't, he's deticated his entire carreer to a podunk team in the arctic circle. Further evidence that no good deed goes unpunished.

Re: NFL
I was actually hoping Atlanta shelled out some buck for him so he could end up where he started. Oh, well. What did they sell like 50 million no.4 Jets jerseys today? Good for them. Now the Jets just suck around him.

Re: NFL
Well now, at least maybe anyway, ESPN can show stuff happening in other sports. I mean, there are other sports out there aren`t there? There was a couple of weeks ago anyway .

Re: NFL
I am a Brett Farve and Green Bay fan I was born and grew up in Wisconsin for years, it sucks he left but at least he is going somewhere that wants him. Pretty sad after all the years and all he did for football to see Green Bay close the door on him. He probably should not have retired but I do not think he planned this comeback, it was just too hard to sit and watch everyone else play the game he loves
Guess i have to teams to pull for this season.

Re: NFL
The ONE thing that Brett did that I will always love is when he played at Southern Miss, they came to Tallahassee to play FSU and beat `em. I forget the year, 88 or something like that. Ask Bobby Bowden, he remembers all too well. lol

Re: NFL
This is another one of my weekly hobbies - it doesn't take too much time to manage and keeps you up to date with alot of team/players you wouldn't care about otherwise... any intereresting moves on your team this week? Congrats to those who played B. Jacobs (easy choice) and S. Jackson this week - already 2 TDs each before the half!!!

Re: NFL
you must have just done a recent pickup of garcia, but cutler has been doing great this year and it should continue as long as his plethora of receivers stay healthy!
LT, JL, Holmes, welker, and ocho have been overall disappointments this year thus far - probably causing you grief. slaton and white on the other hand, have been going off lately. One thing about pro sports - you just never know...

Re: NFL
yep, just picked up garcia. cutler has a bye next week. he was a steal in my draft. i think i picked him in the 6th round. i wasn't expecting a lot from lewis or holmes, but i was counting on LT, welker (not his fault), and 85.
it's good fun. just a $25 buy in with some coworkers. i'm on my way to 5 - 2, so i probably shouldn't complain

Re: NFL
wow - 5-2 with that team? you must have a pretty deep league... yeah, jay cut was a steal this year. so were people like aaron rodgers, warner, orton, campbell - QB's like DA, palmer, brady (not his fault) have been the big surprises... but, then again, what year doesn't...

Dear Buffalo Bills fans. I hope you enjoy your new wide receiver. We will miss T O in Dallas. Accidental overdoses, crying at press conferences and dont forget all the dropped passes. Good Times.

I feel for the Bills. More of a headache than he's worth. I was living in Philly when he was there and though he was a baby then.
