1986 Redline RL-20a
1986 Redline RL-20a
My first build.. '86 Redline RL20a.."custom" built by me
..bought the frame and forks off ebay...she was pretty rough.. previous owner had it stolen and recovered..the serial #s were grinded down..i could make out the first two #'s "86" and it looked like a "114" as the last numbers..the redline logo is 80% complete..after some research on here i found it to be a RL20a..I went with the ProLine decals because i always liked that style...i wanted to build the bike that i always wanted when i was a kid..because i always seemed to end up with a Team Murray or something like that when i was young..lol.. since my parents didn't have the money back then to get me the Redline i always wanted..it took awhile..but i finally got one!! I have a feeling this won't be my first old school build! Completed Feb.2012..SOLD F/F to member Jamminj187 Feb.2013

Re: 1986 Redline RL-20a
I was wondering if anybody knows exactly when Skyway quit making Tuff 2's without the "Kool Hub" metal flange? I read the Skyway history on here and it said '85..i bought the ones on my Redline off ebay..for a awesome price btw!! and was told they came off a '83 Quadangle..any info would be appreciated!!Thanks!!

You rebuilt the 86 bike to an older style. Interesting!

Love it bro. Great build
Bloodied angels fast descending
Moving on a never-bending light
Phantom figures free forever
Out of shadows, shining ever-bright
