Square Body Chevy's-Who's a fan?

Ran across Bmxghostriders for sale post yesterday and saw his Squarebody Chevy pickup. Thought I would start a Squarebody thread. Here is my 1977 Cheyenne(only year with yellow trim)

Re: Square Body Chevy's-Who's a fan?

Here's my old beater 79' GMC Short bed.

My uncle bought this brand new in 79'. He totaled it twice and had it rebuilt. He passed away a few years ago and I acquired it. Havn't really changed much except the engine and exhaust.

Re: Square Body Chevy's-Who's a fan?

I've always liked the square bodies.  They are my second favorite behind the 67-72's.  James, that is one clean truck.  I love the stock but dropped look.  The others are nice, but the white '77 fits my taste.

I had an 82 Cheyenne with a straight six 250.  I bought it used and it had a lot of issues.  After the headgasket blew, I got rid of it.  Wasn't a good experience, but doesn't mean I wouldn't own another one, just need to be smarter about it.

Just your typical Aggie Hutch owner. Gig'em.

I did. 6.0/4l80e. Truck hauled a$$. Put a little too much time and $ into it, but it was fun. I'll do another one. I have had a couple of 71's also. Might do a 67 or 68 next.

My 1972 K20
I built this up with NOS parts bedsides, tailgate, doors, fenders and grille. Then a cowl hood. Had about 8 in. of lift and set on Weld wheels and 37in Goodyear MTR's. Had a built up 350 and a turbo 400 with a Dana 44 up frt and a Corp 14 rear end. The thing rode like a log wagon but man I miss it.
