1983 Mongoose Expert

Unrestored survivor SOLD

This bike was given to me 2 weeks ago by a friend of a friend. It is original down to the tires except for the F-1 grips. Excellent chrome. Decals are all there but the fork decals have been scratched up a little. I own a few bikes but this is my first BMX.

I'm looking for the following frames, frame & forks or completes by BMX products:
MotoTrac (nickle or chrome), Racer-X or a Super-X (with the double gussets).
Thanks wink

Re: 1983 Mongoose Expert

I know. I fix up used bikes and give them away. I gave away over 100 this year. He heard of what I do, and gave me this bike and 2 others (department store)and told me I could do what I want with it. Keep it and put it with my other vintage bikes or sell it to buy parts for bikes I'm working on. Not sure what I'm going to do yet.
