That's nice. Is the CCM company the same that produces hockey equipment? Just wondering.

Re: 1986 CCM Breaker FX-550 Freestyle
thanks for the replies, Yes CCM made hockey equipment as well.
Shortly after C.C.M. declared bankruptcy in 1983, all of the assets of the Company were purchased by Procycle Group Inc. of Quebec who retained the bicycle division and sold off the hockey division[10] to Montreal businessman David Zunenshine.
Procycle has acquired rights to a number of cycling brands for use on various lines of bicycles. At some point, Procycle renamed CCM to 'CCM cycle' to better differentiate the brand from the separate CCM Hockey business.
In 1999, the CCM brand turned 100 years old. After a 101 year history, over 10,000,000 bikes had been manufactured in Canada bearing the CCM name.
As of 2004, Procycle was the largest bicycle manufacturer in Canada, building 200,000 CCM-branded bikes per year across Canada and the USA.

I remember seeing these in the store and laughing at the crappy attempt to build a freestyle bike. Brings back good memories! . My buddies and I all thought we were experts. We mostly looked at brakes...Chang star or lee chi completely discounted any bike for us!

Cool! The frame looks very much like the Puch Freestyle.

Re: 1986 CCM Breaker FX-550 Freestyle
Ha! This is awesome!
I posted a "name this bike" on the forum back in 2011 for a bike my friend had obtained and we did not know what it was.
https://bmxmuseum.com/forums/viewtopic.php?id=354239
The pics are now long gone but I finally got an answer to what this bike was. The bike I had asked about was 100% identical to the one pictured above. I figured it had to be an import of some kind. Finally, a CCM breaker. Thanks for sharing this and settling an old mystery for me and my friend.
