Hi..
new member here
Just picked up a bike for my son and can’t figure out what model it is.
This is the serial number on it.
3f1478 and a little baseball at the end.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Thanks.

3(83 Koizumi made Japan) f(batch/month) 1478(frame #) baseball(symbol for Koiz made) if thickness of Frame dropouts are 3mm then it's a Silver Streak(Chromoly Frt Triangle with Mild Steel Rear) if dropouts 2mm then Pro(full Chromoly) Forks should have some same Symbols on Left Dropout if Correct for bike(3__baseball symbol) you also need to compare Geometry of Frm to ones in the Museum to Confirm exact Model(Mini, Pro, Sil Strk, Leary Turbo, etc...) Good Luck. If you become a Pro Member the Site lets you post pics of what ya got(or use a third party host). Or a Member or Moderator may post them for ya.

Re: Diamondback serial #'s

Any frame with an F especially on the bottom bracket is a Taiwan made frame.

Re: Diamondback serial #'s

Thanks for the quick response guys ..
I put a micrometer to the dropouts and they came in at 3.3 mm.
I measured them all over, the top the bottom left and right sides and it was pretty consistent at 3.3mm.. so silver streak????

Re: Diamondback serial #'s

Hi All,
I have a Diamond back bmx that belonged to my son (dirt bike accident brain and spinal injury). I was thinking of selling to help him out. Was wondering if it had any value, pretty sure alloy frame.
Has two lots of numbers on it. W1012-0 and ACL03D070298
Thanks in advance

Measure the Thickness of the Frame Dropouts-if they are 2mm thkness(Pro) if 3mm probably Sil Strk. Also Gotta compare Geometry or TT Measurement to discern what Size if a Pro.
Medium Pro(Silver Streak same)

Re: Diamondback serial #'s

@knightindullarmor are you answering my serial? At the back it says CRMO tail loop. Does that make it a Super streak?
