Re: Robinson question,

the canti mount is on an adapter plate, if you look closely. alot of mid - late 90's parts on there though.

Re: Robinson question,

The rear loops are not full like the 88 89s. they have the look of the pro models that came later.

Re: Robinson question,

Must be my eyes then, I'd swear those look like full loops. If they're split, but no canti mounts, then 89-93 or so.

Re: Robinson question,

the half loops came out in '89 but the stays didn't connect.  In '90, I believe, the seat stay looped down and connected with the chainstay like this one.  Since it doesn't have Canti's yet, I would guess '90-'93.

Would love to find my old Dirt Bike.  It was stolen in Pompano Beach, Florida in about 1996.  It's a '92 with the block graphics on a Green frame.  Pitchforks, Slam bars, GT (DK-style) stem and GT/Profile cranks.  Superlace hubs.  Would really love to put this back in my collection.

+1 1" headtube w/ canti mounts tells the tale.  Check your left rear dropout for the serial # and letter designation such as "P" or "XL".  Such placement indicates that it's USA-made.  If the serial # is located on the bottom bracket instead of the dropout, then you have a Taiwan-made Rebel, MX, or SST.

Re: Robinson question,

I'd go with '92-'93.     '89-'91 had the "open" half loop, '92-'93 had the fully welded half loop, '94 added cantis, '95 went to threadless stem.
That looks like a canti adapter, not welded on canti mounts.  My $.02 smile

cant really tell unless we see a better pick wink ... my guess would be 94/ 95 ... my 93 is an open half loop wink
