We make it a ritual at the barber so he doesn’t feel bad about going, since we are both getting a cut:D

Can't wait to be adding to this!
I'm just ever so slightly jumping the gun a bit as my boy Leo just turned 4 months old lol.
He's just started taking steps if you hold his hands though, he can roll over with ease & is getting the hang of crawling. He'll be on a Stryder/Balance Bike in no time!

Congrats. It passes so fast so enjoy everyday. I'd also suggest one of these 3 wheel scooters. Pic below is right at 2 years old. He started to push it around the house at around 20mths. He has great balance and I attribute much to the time spent on his scooter. He rides it to this day. Been through 3 sets of bearings, 2 wheelsets and 1 handlebar (dad accidentally broke them) ...btw few post above pic from a few days back...4yrs old. Been raising the trainers with goal to take them off in next 2 months.

Hey hemi455, that last pic of you holding your daughter and kissing her on the forehead is priceless. I lost my daughter for almost 5 years due to my divorce with her mother. She would not even talk to me. She changed her phone number and said she’d report me to the police if I ever called or texted her again to say I love her or to tell her maybe we can get together someday for lunch, go for a walk or to talk. This past September, I received a call from her out of the blue and she begged me to come get her out of her mother’s house (lots of emotional abuse and just strangeness in that home). She moved in with me and my new wife that afternoon (I remarried two months before she called me). The last 6 months have been the best 6 months of my life (I have the two most important women in my life by my side daily). She and my new bride get along beautifully and we have been catching up everyday for the last 6 months and we are so close. She is almost 20, so I missed some important things in her life, but I think God I’m able to partake in everything from this point moving forward. Guys, don’t take for granted even a single second of time you have to spend with your kids. For those of you who are not able/allowed to spend time with your kids for reasons out of your control, be patient, treat them kindly and hopefully they will return in time. I have hope for each and everyone of you in this position and hopefully sooner than later, your estranged child/ children will return to you. It can happen and I still have hope my 22 year old son will realize what’s going on and return to me as well. Until then, be good men. And lead by example.

Mike,
That’s heartbreaking and heartwarming at the same time. I’ve always said that I’ve screwed up every other role in my life at one time or another but being a dad is one that I’m determined not to. My kids tell me I’m doing a good job so I think I’m on the right path. Even my sons mom said that to me not too long ago so that really tells me! I’m glad everything is finally working out for you. I’m feeling happy for you. And good advice to others going through something similar. Be patient.

As proud as they come! Fatherhood is a privilege that not everyone gets to experience and some don’t understand that it’s amazing. Cheers to all the proud dads out there

When I joined I had one daughter and she was 6 months old. She’s going to be 11 this year and has 2 younger brothers, 5 and 7. Plus the step kids I have inherited in that time too! It’s crazy how things change and how time flies. I wouldn’t trade it for anything! These guys bring me so many smiles each and every day. It’s not always easy but that’s life

All kinds of awesome with the kids on this page! As mentioned, the time flies by. You don't believe me? Well, my 18 and 16 year-olds were 8 and 6 when I joined this place. With four more decisions expected in the next week, the 18 year-old has been accepted to Penn State, Lehigh, U Mass Amherst, and Renssaelaer, while the 16 year-old has rededicated himself to academic excellence. All of us really are blessed.

Great to hear master P... a fathers job is never done.. & it’s these moments that are the rewards of bringing up your offspring the right way... respect to you n your loved ones mate ... they grow up quickly & are making matured decisions give them boys a hug.. & a pat on the back...
My proud moment of the day.. was when I got a msg from my granddaughter today.. due to circumstances her & her brother have lived with me since 9&7 .. they still have rooms at my place..& they are like my own kids n have bought them up the same... I’ve known she’s been trying to buy her first home for a while.. & have offered to help her before... always telling me no .. I wanna do it I’m my own.. today she asked for a little help with stamp duty’s n such... so happy to be alive to help her out... kids are the only thing that can make you proud.. other than yourself.
If it wasn’t serious. I wouldn’t be doing it..
Yin...Be soft kind and loving,..
yang..but also take nobody's shit....
my old man.. open your mind before you open your mouth son...
my mum...be yourself son.. people don't have to like you..and you don't have to care...
Me uncle patt. AarH F@fk em all let the devil sort em out..
