Definitely too bad considering how much collectors are asking for them these days. Hot bike, for sure!

When I bought these years ago I had to buy three and passed the third along becasue I don't put plates on my bikes and of course now I have a need for exactly this black prismatic plate decal becasue I've finally decided to build my one last BMX bike with a plate and prismatic decals.
Totally not looking at any Corvette owners here
is this it?

Re: Lets see those SCHWINNS...Bikes/parts/ect
So went looking through old threads to find the pic that inspired this build... pic is from 1974, but the thread was 2015- sheesh I'm terrible at finishing things sometimes.
So, I picked up a 24" 1980 "Down Cruiser" shortly thereafter and in the meantime Ray built his stunning 24" Scrambler tribute so 5 fracking years later I finally get around to finishing my rattle can version:
Ended up going blue as the black just looked a little too much like 'the bike that sketchy meth head rides at the swap meet over in the wrong side of town.' Still needs some small details, but it's mostly there.

Love it! Nice job, are you planning on keeping the solo seat or going with a banana seat?

Re: Lets see those SCHWINNS...Bikes/parts/ect
For actual riding this one, plus a layback post I'm gunna make from solid stainless stock. The ol' spare tire is more of a second passenger at this point, so I'll need the extra room If we're ever allowed to go out in public again and gather at a show, I'm thinking I'll pick up a lucky 7 post, a 15" Stingray junior sized banana and slam it, and add some random motorcycle bars to really get the height down for looks like the Bob Devitt bikes-
For the time being just need some pads and to get the plate mounted, and add a seat post coin.

Dude, the Park fork trimming tool is only like $30 lol.
But otherwise the brown/gold is muy sexy. Need you need a Padres throwback hat when you ride it

I was just looking into that tool. I’ve had good success with just a hacksaw in the past but, luck hasn’t been on my side lately so I think I’ll order the tool!
Vintage Padres definitely fit the build but, I’m an Orioles fan!
Thanks man

Looks killer! Love the blue EVH theme on there, super RAD!
Those wheels look sick! Are they stripped T1000’s?
