Re: 1985 Flying Rhino III
I remember these from BITD. Super rare and high quality. Wish I had one!
Still searching for my missing bikes from BITD. 1979 Blue Max serial: CI9 221346 and 1977 Webco serial: 42667. Both were last seen at Spoke and Sport Bicycles in Spokane, WA around 1984. $600 reward if found!!

Re: 1985 Flying Rhino III
Yeah there was a frame with same gusset and it was also Tange built but it didn't have the fluting on the top and bottem tubes.
It sold on ebay for like US$150 or something like that.
It would be interesting to know what it was.

Re: 1985 Flying Rhino III
This frame is actually a Rhino III... The Flying Rhino has regular shaped downtube, and bigger hole diameter in the gusset... There is a difference in the two bikes... Both Tange made frames and all Cr-Mo...
44t BMX Club, "Midway Chapter"... Favortie bike:1983 Schwinn Predator... Schwinn, SuperCross, Free Agent, Anlun, Mongoose and Redline PL24 fan, as long as it's not a Hutch, I'll ride it... Predator owners show your PREDATOR LOVE and post your Predators here: http://bmxmuseum.com/forums/viewtopic.php?id=741107

Re: 1985 Flying Rhino III
Hi,
Nice frame!
I am looking for many years for such a frame. I had one in the eighties and raced on it.
I can’t find them in Europe.
