1986 Diamond Back Hot Streak

Here's my second find for my new hobby.  1986 Diamondback Hot Streak that caught my eye ....Nice old school ride.

1986 Diamondback Hot Streak, looks to be all OG other than the a few parts.  She's had white Diamondback Mags, but I curbed those for a sweet pair of Green Peregrine Masters, stock cranks, Diamondback stem, Diamondback seat clamp,  seat post and handle bars are OG, White DIA-COMPE 880's brakes front and rear with new green tuff pads, and HWA FONG tires.

Re: 1986 Diamond Back Hot Streak

Well its been a little while since i've had her.  I took her to the DC ride to sell, but she rode so sweet I've decided to keep her on a little longer.  She just needed a little love, so I put on a sweet pair of green Peregrine Masters I picked up here at the museum! Wow what a difference!

Re: 1986 Diamond Back Hot Streak

Is this the one you asked me about cleaning a while back & I didn't reply to for quite a while? If so you got it looking very good! Tho it's not the same as my DB, you have the Gen 1 F/F with the different front & rear pegs/stands. Yours is an early 86 (prior to August 86). Mine is an August 86 build which is the 2nd Gen F/F but the same decals & colors. Regardless you have a nice looking bike there tho you need a rotor on it!
