Unknown bike - name it!

Ok.  This bike belongs to a friend - pics were taken with his IPhone so sorry for the poor resolution.

I can't ID this bike.  It's like a MT TrickFox combined with an old Mongoose Decade with SE-ish forks, etc.

The bike is well made, has very clean welds and good geometry but for the life of me I dont know what it is.  I am guessing it is an Asian knock-off of some sort, but made with decent quality.

Does anyone know what this is?  No serial numbers anywhere.  I'd love to put a name to it.  I know my bikes well, especially late 70's and 80's but have no clue on this one.

Re: Unknown bike - name it!

Nice guess.  It has that 'Hanter family' look to it, doesn't it?  But as far as I know Visage only made two models - the RL 20-II / GT faker and the crossbar gusset model.

Odd, isn't it?

Alright mate, forks are the same as the ones you get on a falcon pro freestyler, there just missing the plastic sleeves.

Re: Unknown bike - name it!

thanks Peg01.  Perhaps that gets us closer.  I'll do some research on the Falcon bikes.  Maybe it's one of their models.  The forks are identical save for the difference in height on the standers.

hmm.......

Re: Unknown bike - name it!

thanks psycho.

they are VERY close, but doesn't look like it.  no rear frame standers on any year Universal, and the tubes near the headset on a Universal are slanted, where these are straight.

so far, this bike is stumping the entire museum community!  at least I dont feel so bad not knowing what it is.

It's all for sale. Chrome frames suck. Real men rock reflectors.

Text me pictures for repair work. It's the easy way to get ahold of me. 8124997173
