Re: 1979 Race Inc. RA-7
Thanks so much guys
I think one of the funnest things for me was putting the pin-stripping on the number plate. I've already been out on a couple quick rides and it feels like a brand new bike. A little small in the bar department compared to what I'm used to but still fun to ride regardless

The " Roll eyes " emoji is from the same 2 guys that hold a grudge and seem to think they are better/smarter than me. They're just bitter. I could post just about anything and them two guys will hate on me. I don't post much these days but if you need anything at all send me a PM. I'm glad to help.

Thanks! I'm really happy with the final result... I went through too many brake calipers to get it just right for me plus a couple bars too.

Awesome, absolutely awesome! I love the Race Inc's. My bro had a gold one BITD. I sent him a listing for a blue one FS recently and he quickly dismissed it. I like the blue over the gold. Great work, enjoy it (aka ride it!!)

Re: 1979 Race Inc. RA-7
beautiful deep blue. very nicely re-done... not too thick, as many that i've seen. you can see the "stack-of-dimes" effect of the welds and everything. i love these frames, and yours is definitely a keeper.

Re: 1979 Race Inc. RA-7
Thanks so much guys! I really enjoyed putting this together... It's a keeper and I take it out to ride for fun too. No carpet queens here. It's amazing hoping on a vintage bike like this and having everything work so well. One of life's true pleasures

A few changes have been made...
Got hold of some NOS Uni numbers for the plate:
A super nice Dia-Compe Tech 2 lever:
And finally a sweet set of white vinyl pads:

Re: 1979 Race Inc. RA-7
Ha! Turns out that going by the serial RA26XXX this is more likely a mid 79 and not an 80 like I thought before
