1990 GT Mach One

STOLEN ON 11/02/2015 ***EDIT...retrieved on 11/24/2015 OH YEAH!

My Son's Daily Rider

My son caught the BMX restoration bug shortly after watching me rebuild a few, and chose this frame/fork/crank combo from another member as his platform.  He has learned to clean/polish/regrease every part of this bike, and helped choosing the parts for it.
Edit 5/28/2015  Added some homemade decals and a new wheel set.  Last pic is how it all began.

GT Mach One Frame/Fork   (Thanks Ether) GT Mohawk hubs GT spider GT pedals GT Cheng Shin tires GT grips (NOS) GT pads (NOS) GT seat post GT clamp DK stem Velo seat (for comfort)

Re: 1990 GT Mach One

Good looking bike, I always liked the earlier Mach 1's. Tried to get one but ended up with the 93.

Thanks SUBCOOL.   It rides smooth, and my 12 year old's friends have no clue what kind of bike it is!

Re: 1990 GT Mach One

I dig it...  Very cool build with your son.   Awesome story and build...

I don't know what I'd do if anything ever happened to my girlfriend. But first, I'd
probably burn my clothes....
I'm wasting my time trying to come come up with a good quote, so, out of anger, I'm going to waste your time by having you read this one.... Mr T pities the emos, thats why they're sad...

Re: 1990 GT Mach One

It's going through a re-birth with a wheel/tire change and some homemade decals.

Re: 1990 GT Mach One

Wow, this bike was stolen from my garage on 11/02/2015, then recovered on 11/24/2015!
So stoked to have it back, only thing missing is the pad set. cool
