Re: rare bikes
Usually because they are rare, they tend to be expensive.

Is it possible for you to email BMX products some pictures of the frame and fork for frame decal scans? I contacted them about this and they said that they didn't have the patterns, but that they would be working with Vintage Mongoose.com to get decal scans and eventually come out with reproduction frame decals for the 10th Anniversary frame.

What about a Laser 5000?
I used to lust for one of these BITD, but damn it's hard to find info... These were all chrome with the black and red "Laser" logo - not the punky colored later ones. Maybe 1984? I'm just doing a cursory search but I can't even find an image of one.

Very cool that you know where there is one nos in the box. I kinda wished that I held onto the box that my 10th Anniversary frame set came in when I bought it.
I bought mine at the track that I raced at on D-day of '85 from another racer who got it as a year end award from the NBL for having the highest point total for female riders in Oregon the previous year.I raced it for the next two summers before the track shut down and I quit racing.I have managed to still have the bike after 26 years and luckily restoring it wasn't too difficult since most of the original parts were still on it.
