For what it's worth there is a web site with a ton of BMX Mags on file you just click on the issue you desire. The guy has a few missing ones but still has a ton of info. I get Ride and Plus. No huge stash but I cherish the Plus's with my Art in them.

The issue is that they have quite a bit of BMX Action but super low on the BMX Plus. Any assistance with scanning and converting to PDFs would be great. They don't seem to have an outlet to get the issues to do it themselves.

Thermal count is rising, In perpetual writhing. The primordial ooze, And the sanity they lose. Awakened in the morning, To more air pollution warnings. Still we sleepwalk off to work, While our nervous systems jerk. Pretending not to notice, How history had forebode us. With the green house in effect, Our environment was wrecked. Now, I can only laugh, As I read our epitaph. We end our lives as moles, In the dark of DAWN PATROL

Re: BMX PLUS Magazine hoarders!!!

That first issue of BMXA, I once had 3 issues of that. I sold 2 of them. I remember I had the cover autographed by Bob Osborn even. That autographed issue was hard to sell. I found out that autographs on the cover dosen't make them any more collectible. I had almost all my magazine covers autographed, but now I sold most of my autographed covers and kept the regular ones.. I think I sold my BMXA first issues for around 300..

Re: BMX PLUS Magazine hoarders!!!

What was the best era of BMX Plus? Of course the early mid 80's will always rule... Some of those years in the 90's were just lame for bmx magazines. Just boring and no action....BMX Plus is still doing alright. Of course it's steered to the pre teen rider. I look forward to getting my issue every month. I have every issue, so why stop now I guess...hmm

Re: BMX PLUS Magazine hoarders!!!

Norcal66, you got some great stuff, looks like you picked a bunch of stuff up that took me years and alot of money to get...That first issue of BMXA is really something. I have 2 copies. There is just something about magazines that still get me stoked. Maybe it brings back that same feeling I used to have, even for a few minutes, when it arrives in the mail.. But magazines these days, I just look at for a few minutes and put them in a box to store....

I got lucky to be in the right place at the right time.  Now all my old BMX buddies seem to be visiting much more than they used too.

Re: BMX PLUS Magazine hoarders!!!

The 90's stuff is definitely harder to find than the 80's stuff.. I never stopped getting the magazine, and during the early days of Ebay I bought alot of magazines dirt cheap.. But I had an overload and in the last 3 years sold most of my doubles. Who knows what the future brings for BMX Plus, I can't imagine it's easy to keep a magazine going in this internet age.. But looking at it on a computer screen dosen't do it for me.. It would be a quick fix but nothing beats actually owning them.. BMX Plus is pretty cool. I just got the new issue in the mail a few minutes ago.. Time to page through it...roll
