Re: 44T Old/Mid School BMX Club of Chicago
I'm diggin' the concepts so far with the chainwheel and Chicago skyline.
I'm not a big fan of the graphitti lettering.
Maybe a silhouette of a guy, or better yet, a group cruising along. Some with Tuff Wheels, laybacks, and Chi-town style bars.
The accumulated filth of all their sex and murder will foam up about their waists and all the whores and politicians will look up and shout "save us"...
And I'll look down and whisper "no".

Nealsky's design is great, and I think that between his and mine (which share some common elements), we will find what works for everybody. Let me know your thoughts, and I again want to thank everybody for their enthusiasm and participation!
Perront, I think we should lean towards your design with the really large "44T BMX Club" writing and possibly put two bikes in the background on either side instead of the sprocket. Like the bikes are shooting out from behind the 44T logo on either side. The sprocket design is cool (I know we both incorporated on in our designs) but it might be too similar to the 4130 BMX club design. What do you guys think?

Re: 44T Old/Mid School BMX Club of Chicago
LOL @ Bipolar! Bro, you are a founding father of 44T, so your word means everything! Good ish on the FB! I do like Nealsky's idea of the divergent bikes. Now we just need somebody to draw them up... If I get a little time, I might try to throw something together, but realism ain't my specialty.

Re: 44T Old/Mid School BMX Club of Chicago
Yea, guys -- we're gonna roll with the latest design offered by Neal. There may be a couple of minor tweaks in the final draft, but what he posted is pretty much what it will look like. Thanks, Neal! My sincerest gratitude goes out to the other members who submitted designs -- Seko, and especially Tom. You guys worked hard and really showed that your heart is in this movement.
Now it's time to get about the business of what 44T is really about -- functioning as a network for Chicago area riders to get together, ride, and have fun! With that in mind, I'm going to post this on the 44T thread, and that's where you'll see posts about events, activities, and updates from now on. Everyone, thanks for your support -- now let's make this happen!

Hey guys! I am in to meet all of ya since the only person I've really met from this thread is Slayer...There is a Chicago/Midwest group and a lot of them are part of a group called the "Midwest Militia." Are we going to be able to co-exist or are we going to have a huge gang fight/war?! I can't wait to meet all of you guys at the Ottowa event, it is a awesome show...Lets just all leave our knives/guns at home!
I'm sure our groups can be allies and possibly merge in the future!
It's all in the Technique...

Mike, does this mean we aren't friends anymore...
It would be great to see some serious mid-school representin', and I KNOW you can bring it!
The militia is more than welcome to join the rides. But with all that black at the beach, you all might just spontaniously combust!
The accumulated filth of all their sex and murder will foam up about their waists and all the whores and politicians will look up and shout "save us"...
And I'll look down and whisper "no".
