I've been out all day and just cought word of this.  I live in San Clemente and have no problem coming down.  Sounds like the time is 12:00.  Let me know where about in Mission Beach as I am not very familiar with the area.

Coming from the 5 south exit 8 West and follow the Mission Beach sings (stay in your right hand lane).  Those signs will run you right into the roller coaster.  Hope to see you there.

13mm - he's coming from San Clemente.  From 5 south, there's no 8 west ramp.  There are 2 ways that you can make it from the north, the Grand/Garnet exit and the Sea World exit.  You may want to mapquest it because both are not exactly straightforward.

Yeah, I usually take sea world drive, head west, pass Sea World and take the next right onramp right after Sea World, then stay in right lanes and keep getting right and making right turns, it feels like you went in 10 circles, when you can see you are headed to the bay, just park in one of the lots on either side of street by the bay, it's usually less crowded in those lots.  I'm heading down soon, be on a mid school PL24 with 1980 Proline stickers.

chalk me down as extremely jealous.  Endo - you should have brought the crew by the house for a beer, or beverage of choice at my house.  I can't believe i missed frankenhutch and all the others.  Looks like it was a good time...

Re: San Diego, CA, let's cruise!

The first 30 minutes we were there I mentioned we should have all packed up our extra parts and stuff and had a little local swap meet...save a lot of shipping costs, having to wait on UPS, and you can actually see and hold what you are buying...just a thought.  That far parking lot is big enough that you could all crowd over there and lay your stuff out...just a thought.

Re: San Diego, CA, let's cruise!

My Araya 7x's were delayed another week from the chrome shop.  Bummber, i'm getting very close and was hoping to be rolling for the next ride.

I'll definitely meet up next time even if it's just on a vintage cruiser, beach that is...

Notice the left hand back brake on the torker.  I do that on my mountain bike so i don't hose myself while riding my dirtbike.
