Re: *Official old school skateboard thread*

Has anyone had any luck with the new flea market section or what ever it is called for selling skateboards on here?  Trying to decide if I want to take the time to take pictures and post some of my skateboards on here or not.

A who?

wink

Seriously, my Kendall was the last board I'd owned, it was stolen in '88.

And truthfully I was no longer paying any attention by that point,  as I was immersed in school.

I look at the fanboys of Rip Grip, Rat Nuts and Bonite and scratch my head, it's all foreign to my era.

Then again, I remember when Haro was a Bob, not a brand wink

So yeah, 83-87 represented smile

Pleased to me you, I too have retired, the wall is where it belongs, and in case you have Uncle  Wiggley questions, I'm your man wink

I feel like we have talked on the old SnB forum back when I was a regular.  Welcome to this crazy place that is more PG than SnB.

Re: *Official old school skateboard thread*

It's sad to think it was such a happening place and then it just dried up and died.
Lots of great memories and deals to be made back then, but then as the $20 Eric Nash scratch off deck old stock dried up, so did all the other great deals. I made a lot of great friends around the world thanks to that place

I have an Uncle Wiggley question:  What was the model with the man and woman smiling and looking at the sky?  Seems there was a UFO theme or something.
