1985 CW Racing California FreeStyle Mike Buff

Winner: "Best Freestyle BMX" OS BMX Society Reunion and Show 2011

Limited Edition Mike Buff Freestyler #132

This bike came into my possesion in late 2010 and was already in incredible survivor condition. I broke it down completely and a few months later here it is. The only parts added since I aquired it were the tires, levers, cables, Buff guard, seat and pedals (all of which match original parts on the bike in 85). I want to thank my buddy mazzzze for allowing me to acquire this incredible bike. I'm glad you saw the finished product in person at the OS show. I also want to thank hboost for digging it out of where ever he digs rare bikes from, Cblee for donating the cables, jsadamski for the Buff guard and rare Mike Buff Freestyle pads and bmxaddicts for the seat and tires. Last but not least, MAD props go to VICSTA for the always insane photo shoot. Thanks for looking, O.

Dude...Another sick, sick build! Not at all surprising, considering what you did with all of your other bikes (especially that beautiful Dyno that I love)! I also instantly recognized Vic's shooting style for your photos. Insanely beautiful and rare...fantastic job! Congrats on the win too - very deserving!

And here is a shot of me with Mike Buff himself. He signed the top tube on the bike and I will post that later. Talking to him about the bike was the highlight of the day!

The "Grail" of CW freestylers. It looks totally badass Oscar. Mad props to you for taking your time and getting everything correct on it.

When I heard you won the BMX Society award for best freestyle, I didn't know if I was more excited that you won it..........or that a CW won it. Either way, congrats to you and the bike. You are both awesome in my book.

oooohhhweee! that bike is all you Oscar! it couldn't have ended up with a better home. it's perfect and a big congrats on a well deserved win. this will be hard to top but i know you will find a way to do it. can't wait to see what's next. congrats man! the bike is stunning! i'm sure i'll see you in a few weeks man. we'll catch up soon!

You did a great job on it Oscar! I can't believe you found those few original items so easily!! You have an original condition rare bird there. But, the expression on Mike Buff's face when he saw it himself is priceless!! Congrats on the trophy Oscar!!

Super kick ass Oscar. That had to have been a personal highlight to have Buff himself not only be there, but to auto the bike. Did he ask to take it for a spin?

Thanks Jer, he did ask if he could ride it but I told him those tires were off limits. J/K I would have handed it over on the spot.
