That's where you buy parts. Guys buy these and part them completely out. A chassis is always great a great part to have. Probably about 10 bucks on Ebay and 50 or so at the shop.  Folding a chassis up will end you lol

Right, Well I usually do.  But With This Platform, It’s not Going To Be Needed As Bad As Like A Buggy Or Truggy.  This Will Not Be Able To take a direct Hit To the Chassis From a Nose Dive Or The Rear Either.  Only Thing There To Hit  Is A Huge Solid Axel Like A Real Truck.  Your Right About The Chassis Being Inexpensive On EBay.  I don’t really understand All that, Spend 500 On a Truck and Sale It all For Nothing? Weird, And What’s even stranger, You can’t find These No where right Now. Everything Is On Back Order.   There’s One Site I think Had A couple On Hand.  But nothing from Kyosho Or The Other Local Shops Out West .  Go Figure?  Maybe There Just Open Box Returns That They Decide to Part Out.  The Parts Are Listed As New Never Used Tho.

I have wondered how much could possibly be made on the parts.
Your doing the right things by buying extra parts now. Gonna be very hard to find parts if they are back ordered.
I personally have only messed car/stadium truck chassis up myself. None of my bigger trucks took big hits like you mentioned.
I have been stuck 3 times with the chassis problem so maybe that's my mindset .
I could just be reckless RC driver too lol

Re: lets see those rc cars

Good to buy extras your gonna need them tongue

I have destroyed so many rc cars and rebuilt them all to do it again. Broke my baja chassis 6 times through the years stripped gears ripped of the front end and rear end also tore the motor out twice.

But love every minute of it big_smile

Re: lets see those rc cars

Got around to tinkering with my 1st gen T-Maxx (or what's left of the oringinal parts) after four years of collecting dust. Needs new fuel lines, throttle linkage, exuaust ties, shock oil, glow plug, (O.S. CV-R 18 is brand new never ran yet)...Tranny is a three speed conversion minus the reverse. Aluminum parts are Hardcore Products and Dynamite, Billet Wheels are real beadlocks from Stormer. Should have it up and running by next weekend. http://uploads.bmxmuseum.com/user-images/248463/img_19685ce21e761c.jpg

Don’t know what’s up with Byron Fuel.  Got this From A ebay seller in just 48 hours.  To bad Byron Fuel, Looks Like I’ve found a better Fuel distributor for This RedMax Nitro Fuel http://uploads.bmxmuseum.com/user-images/258054/cfcfef68-6a6c-4238-8a76-0aad7e7f534f5ce6b2c6d5.jpeg

This Is Really Nice, I like the Green Chassis.  Looks like you have a good time on your hands also once you get it all ready.  How Many Gallons do you normally get out of a Nitro engine?  I’ve Gotten As Many As 25 gallons through a Nitro RC engine without a rebuild.  I have buddies that can’t get 5 gallons before they Blow there’s.  I always run rich tho, I also add some extra castor to My Gallon.  I use 1 tablespoon of Castor 927 in all my gallons as extra lubricant. Nice wheels!

Thanks Chase! I really never counted on how many gallons b4 a rebuild. The stock Traxxas mill I blew the 1st month due to a pebble getting stuck in the flywheel, received a replacement from Traxxas and the EZ start caught on fire. So after that I went with O.S.15 with pullstart which was fine but went to a .18 for more power which is where I'm at now. I might need a wheelie bar from the torque.

I never heard of castor oil being mixed in with nitro as xtra lubricant. Work pretty good? Nice to see you you finally got your fuel so it's time to rip it up! Very stoked for ya bud!

Thanks Brother, It Has Been Fun Getting Started again.
Ran A Couple Tanks Tonight With Break In.  Everything Went great.  Really Nice Build On this Truck.  The Pull Start Was Very Nice. The Red Max Fuel Ran Great, No Complaint, Super Cool , Although I Was Spewing Raw Fuel during break in

Red Max Is My Go To Brand Now.  I Had A Bit Of A Problem Yesterday With The Truck, Had a servo Go Out On Me.  The Throttle Went WOT and Hung.  Luckily It Shot Straight Up And Flipped Upside Down And I was Able to get to it without Much Damage.  Not sure why the fail Safe didn’t work.  I didn’t buy any Extra servos, So I’m Waiting On That Now.
