Re: lets see those rc cars
Here's some old school goodness. I think it's a Tamiya, not sure. I bought it used over 20 years ago with an ugly truck body on it so I bought this clear shell and painted it this ugly colour and stickered it up. Pretty sure it's at least mid 80s. Still works good

Re: lets see those rc cars
Been building and racing RC cars for about 18 years now, first car was a Kyosho Outlaw Ultima (which I still have) and a Kyosho Double Dare. I've had every kind of car you can imagine, rock crawlers, 1/10th stadium trucks, on-road, MT, 1/8th scale Buggy (which I still race) etc.
The back of my Jeep a couple of years ago:
Electrics are really fast but lame IMO, one of the things I love about RC is tuning engines and the smell of nitro. I hate charging batteries all the time and li-po is so expensive....
Here is a Tamiya TT-01 I sold a while back, I loved this truck but never used it.
My Savage X which I still race
You guys might like this, I built this about 10 years ago, it was based on a Tamiya Clodbuster but I made all the suspension links and stuff by myself, it had 90 degrees of articulation:
A pic I took of my old Mugen MBX5
And a video I made a while back from our local track

I currently race a Kyosho MP9 in the 1/8th buggy class

Re: lets see those rc cars
Ive been a Avid RC'er for over 30 years now. This is part of my vintage collection... well not really from collecting so to speak, just never selling any of my cars as I went through the years.
I went silly about 3 years ago and since then just about doubled it from this pic here.
Ive taken some time off of racing last year and slipped into the Flying and crawling side of things for now. Im still having alot of fun.
GOTTA LOVE RC'in!
