1987 Mongoose M-1

My first attempt at building a freestyle bike, in the works

When I saw this 'goose, I just had to have it. The "Malibu Mint" paint and the white n' pink components, and the vision of what I wanted it to look like, it seemed like the perfect first freestyle bike. These might've been sold as more of a race bike, but I liked the style of the frame. Plus, its more affordable for me, being a graduating high school student with a job and a desire to learn some freestyle tricks.

Wow.  I need my shades just to look at that baby.  Don't go too crazy with the white though.  I think they look better with some other colors thrown in.  You'll have fun with this one.

Cool, a new bike.  Wait a minute.......where am I going to hide this one.  She's going to catch me...

What's the progress on this?

Any current pics of your progress?

I'm looking for the following frames, frame & forks or completes by BMX products:
MotoTrac (nickle or chrome), Racer-X or a Super-X (with the double gussets).
Thanks wink

Re: 1987 Mongoose M-1

progress has slowed to a crawl, and I'm actually trading this to another member for a GT vertigo; just sort of lost steam.

Is the trade a done deal?
I have a grand daughter who would like this and even with your intent of adding pink to it too!
