1979 Team Mongoose

Original Owner '79 Team Mongoose!

This bike and I met each other under the Christmas tree in 1979.  My brother and I sent our Santa letters specifying every part we wanted on these bikes, and Santa delivered.  This was a completely custom special order that came with Redline Forks, Redline V-Bars, Tuf Neck, Tuff II's (originally yellow), and other goodies.  Huge thanks to Crosslink Powdercoating who wouldn't give it back until it was right.  They shot this bike 5 times and did an amazing job replicating the orignal candy blue!!  http://www.crosslinktexas.com/
