'99 Redline FS 880

All stock I was one of the last poeple to get one of these through the shops-they came with one piece cranks, and I put double pinch bolt Flights on it and Redline race pedals. In highschool I had a mango RL 20-II. I like this one better-because you could only use a rotor on the RL-and I favor chrome.

Re: 1999 Redline FS 880

Cool bike.   A lot of people are building them as retros with RL-20II decals.  Built like a tank and heavy as hell.  They are fairly common, but retain a lot of value due to the retro interest.

Re: 1999 Redline FS 880

orlyyaggarcia-thanks for the comment,I bought this redline for $300 dollars from the bike shop in 2000 and payed another $175 for cranks and pedals. they're so much like th RL-20 II-I don't think anyone will want to get rid of them-your name means "trashman" in farcie-no joke, look it up.

Re: 1999 Redline FS 880

You know ,I just thought of a cool collection theme-all '80s twin top tube bikes. Man ,since Haro made the Sport retro I wish they'd make a retro twin top tube Master the closest I could get is the Zippo I haven't built yet-but that's a hi-ten frame waddya' think, guys is it worth the effort ?

Re: 1999 Redline FS 880

there is one of these bikes still at my LBS...has a 399.99 price tag still on it but i bet it would go for much less than that. all stock(obviosly) with the one piece cranks...just has a little dirt/dust on it from someone test riding it on the ABA bmx track that's there at the bikeshop lol.
I think it still has all the CPCS equipment on it too lol.
I just got back from racing there and I noticed a sweet chrome/brown Airbourne decal in the display case there...snapped it up just cuz it looks so damn sweet!
