Re: 1991 Haro Sport

If you are ever letting go of this frame and forks please give me first dibs. I am from Scotland and rode with Scott Carroll for many years then moved to Australia. I have everything to build this bike. Peregrine super pro's Fusion alloy 3-piece cranks, Black haro kneesaver bar's, fusion disc and even 6 sets of the plastic screw in pegs. i have the neon green sport and also the air master. John

Re: 1991 Haro Sport

Nice score. There's just something about those bikes that is awesome. The bashguard seemed like such an evolution/innovation at the time. Mat hoffman was doing incredible things on these.(And likely broke a bunch)The sport was by far the most elegant bashguard design IMO.

Re: 1991 Haro Sport

These are really awesome frames.. I have a chrome one that  just looks super clean in design... this era Sport really represented Haro getting the bashguard bikes very fine tuned.... rather than having 20 extra add on tubes like the early (89-90_ Masters and GT Agressors... it's much more integrated. smile

Re: 1991 Haro Sport

Mine is a later one with bigger tubing. It's solid as hell. I'm still temped to do the A-head conversion.

I agree about the ad hoc addition of bashguards to alot of bikes. that aggressor, the Diamond back and the masters.

Re: 1991 Haro Sport

Please for give me for being, well a bit dumb but is that Great Britain pound or is it Euro?
I did an online conversion of both and just wondering which it is? Also do you have the parts to make it a complete bike as i want it to be as close to original as posible.
Any ideas who to get to ship it or can you organise it and ill pay you.
P.S. my email is ljsleep@bigpond.com
Thanks.

Re: 1991 Haro Sport

Hey im heaps keen on one of these frame n forks if your willing to sell 1 to me, prob is i dont have that kind o cash just yet. Would you be wiiling to hold 1 if i were to a substantial deposit on it. At least half and then pay rest maybe 2 wks after. Im not the sort of guy to mess you around so you will get paid. And id really like 1. OK lets me know thanks.

I picked up a NOS one of these this week, frame/forks/headset & pegs. sweet. Got one in platinum too.

What brake levers would you recommend? i got bulldog brakes and was going to go with ACS 7s levers.

Re: 1991 Haro Sport

Those are great looking bikes! I'm a huge fan of the bashguard era... and that color fits me great!!

Dig out your bashguard bikes and let me know! I'm looking for a '91 Mongoose Hooligan, Dyno Slammer 2, '95 Haro Basher, . I'll consider the others too for the right price!
