1986 GT JR Performer 16

First year for Jr. Performer

This is one of my first resto. projects. Correct chainwheel, bars, seat post, and stem. New skyways and NOS GT skinwalls. Seat from a mid-school Dyno. Powder by Supreme Powder Coat, black parts painted by a museum member. Decals by the Hive. I still have OG wheels, they need to be cleaned and tuned. This was a lot of fun to build. Check out more posted photos for before pics.

Re: 1986 GT JR Performer 16

Update on this bike. Everything black is now being changed to white. The only reason I did black was because I had those sweet GT skinwalls. I just didn't like the look. I sold the tires to the GT Jr. performer king on the site. All I need is the new white tuffs, powdercoating is done.  I have all the og  parts for this bike, except cranks, cuz threads were damaged.

Thanks. Almost finished with the color change. Here it is now. Few more things to do.

Thanks V. I've been waiting for a seat that was small enough. I'm running the og bars and a normal size seat doesn't look as good. I wanted a real jr. Not one with big bars and such. I scored seat from crowe-t for 25 bones.  I'm gonna order a mx1000 from Justin and finish her up.  :)

Re: 1986 GT JR Performer 16

That bike came a long way from that beat up looking frame and fork. I'm really digging the black on blue.
