1984 Mongoose Expert
Corn field rescue-for Dad!
This bike was found by my brother in a corn field. It sat on a shelf for a year or so until our dad passed away and I decided to do a tribute bike for him. In 1984 he had a Candy Apple red 68 Camaro with white and purple pin strips so I figured i'd do this bike up the same way. All I had to start with was the frame. Nothing else on the bike is original with most of the parts coming from a 2005 mongoose bought for our son. The seat was a local clearance find at a bike shop that really finished the bike off nice. Thats Candy paint laid over corvette silver and actual painted pin strips. Just like dad would have it.
