Re: MLB

I was ready to trade everyone and fire the coach a while back lol

They are only guaranteed one more game but that's what it is. I have seen anything and everything happen in this one game too.

LETS GO CARDS cool

Re: MLB

Those overpaid chumps
Got taken the distance by some rookies
Then, coach puts in Reyes 😳
Notice how many runners got stranded too.
Those guys were lucky to get out of that with a W.

But, the sad reality is. The NL yankees won the game.

Just came in the mail today from Lids. I’ll never stop being a lifelong Twins fan. wink

Growing up as a die hard Yankee fan, I have Always a place in my heart for them of as well. I grew up down the road from Tom Kelly. Being a Very close friend of my family, at times he would train me during off seasons and when he was home during my high school years when I played.

One of the best moments from knowing him was when Tom brought me and a friend into their clubhouse and dugout of old Yankee stadium in 87, before the game.  I still have a entire team signed ball from that year. He also had tickets for the World Series waiting for us but my dad could not take off from work to go. I have tons of stuff given to me by him but that ball means the most to me. Great team and all the players were awesome to meet and talk with. Kirby puckett, Gary gaetti,  Kent hrbek, Bert Blyleven, Greg Gagne, Steve Lombardozzi.   so many good guys on that team and they all treated us like family that day.

Tom is a true gentleman and a man of little words. A very humble person who to this day will never sign an autograph for us. He just laughs and says you don’t want that. Very sad times when his son passed away recently.

Coincidentally over the years We met Ron Gardenhire many times, another great person who was down to earth and perfect replacement for when He took over for Tom in 2002.

Big losses hurt I know. but you can’t be mad at teams that want to win and then spend the money to do so. That’s why those teams have such a following and stay dominant. Unlike the ones that owners hoard profit-sharing and do not put the best team on the field. Love them or hate them the best teams are moving on.

I agree with you
Just sucks that my guys got sherzer out in the 4th, went back to being the team that can't get the runners across the plate. Then you have Reyes. He was a all star midway  and then he got shut down late season but go ahead coach, throw him in a crucial situation like last night. All he did was give up a walk off mad

Just disgusted and this $hit really messes with me.

Dodgers won outright so my apologies if I offended anyone.

Gawd dammit lol

I feel your pain. Yankees were so inconsistent all year it’s been extremely frustrating when you have players being paid multi million dollar contracts to look like body builders but can not consistently produce when runners are in scoring positions. Plus pitching that can not hold a lead to save their lives. A few players can only carry a team so far. It’s a team sport for a reason, everyone has to put their A game on the field daily otherwise you fail.

Your team has a lot of potential they will get back to winning. smile

Re: MLB

Lifelong Giants fan here, very disappointed with that last call. I don’t mind losing but to end the game on that BS call was ridiculous.
Great series.

I’m hoping the Dodgers meet up with the Astros and kick the living shit out of them.
