That anodize turned out really nice.  Your attention to the small details is what makes your bikes look so nice, especially the little things like matching hub decals.  Looking forward to your next progress post. wink

Thanks bro, Kinda of a last minute thing on the red/chrome stickers.... A member here was selling a lot of red/chrome GT stickers and I had to grab em for this build. I'm not using all of them but just a few here and there big_smile

Make sure you mask off around the bolt before you tighten the bolt with the impact, don't wanna scratch that new ano, this is after the bolt is tight, you can tell by the tape how much the bolt turned

Not sure why Tuf never offered chrome hardware??? IMO it looks way better than flat black.

Well got the bike got the frame, fork, bars and post on. I know the post is way high but I like to leave it at the min. line till it is time for the test ride, don't want to get it all scratched up for nothing.

Went with a NOS YST headset instead of the one from Justin... I'm thinking the red lines will match the red on the GT coin sticker, if not I have a set of Tange stickers I can use

Awesome build. Im definitley takin notes. Just curious why you had the parts polished before you anodized them. Would you reccomend people do the same?

If you do not polish the parts first they will look very dull and not bling like these do.
So if you want nice bright anodized parts you must polish them 1st.
Thanks for the question I hope it helped smile

The red in the GT matched the headset very well so the headset stays the way it is not going to put the Tange stickers on

I know the original chromer for GT. I'm going by his place tomorrow so I'll ask him if it's ok to post his info up here.
If you need any powder coating done, Olympic is still open too, they're in Santa Ana.

If anyone needs some Chroming done...  Bush Polishing is the original shop used by GT and the man himself still takes his stuff there.
I made sure it was ok to post his contact info first. wwwbushpolishingandchrome.com
