WOW Costa!!!!!

Serious restoration perfection right here. Pro Compes are NOT easy to come by... and you've totally done this one justice. Glad the decals worked out for you  - they look fabulous with that blue paint.  You picked your parts very carefully — some may not notice, but that specific version of AME Rounds (with no end flange) are really really hard to find - and are exactly what came on just the 87 GT's and Dynos.   Killer job all around!

Re: 1987 Dyno Pro Compe Team

I,m new here.  I was not sure how to post a new post.  I have a Dyno Compe that I had to mow a lot of yards to buy back in 1987.  Its serial number is KS87169381 the Frame number is 4130 CRMO TUBE.  The bike is white and the decals are blue with yellow lettering.  My bike has been in my parents garage in the loft since about 1991.  I would love to do a full restore and give it to my son as a gift.  I want to strip it down and get it repowder coated.  My concern is finding decals for it.  The bike also needs new brakes and a new rear spocket.  Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Chris

Re: 1987 Dyno Pro Compe Team

New to the boards and sorry to revive this thread, but its worth it to say this was the bike when I was 15 that I went every weekend to bike store and drooled over. Man, this does my heart good, perhaps the best build I have seen of these. Thanks for sharing!
