Re: 1994 S&M Widowmaker 24

I've said it before, I'll say it again. I think you have to have the cleanest Widowmaker out there Ryan.
Only around 100, huh. Pretty cool.

Re: 1994 S&M Widowmaker 24

Bill and I are amongst the few elite. That I'm aware of, the known owners are:

myself
Bill (wds)
Kelly Baker
Not Eddie Roman
S&MMatt Thomas (who had 2, and just sold one to the UK)
PaulK in Australia
Alex Leech in UK

And that's just about it. I hear one sold in Austin recently. And there's the black one a girl in Canada had that was stolen.

I recently added pictures of that black one to the last page of this: http://oldschoolbmx.com/community/index … c=16000476

Re: 1994 S&M Widowmaker 24

You know I had a chance to have Dee sign my cruiser once.

It was literally two days after I finished building it, a friend of mine who, at the time worked at the Anaheim House of Blues, called me up to tell me that the next night, Dee was performing and that she could get me back stage to hang out and meet him. So stoked, I took the bike apart so I could carry the frame with me inside, found some marker that would work on chrome, and I even figured I'd bring the case to 44 Something for him to sign too. Well, the Saturday day of the show I got wasted at my buddy's BBQ beforehand and just said fuckit on trying to get a cab to Anaheim. I blew it off, passed out, and woke up the next morning all bummed. Oh well. I'm not big on autographs anyway.

I love these bikes. I'm gonna be stoked when another one pops up.

Thanks Chopper. Memphis is great. I'm planning a road trip to visit some old friends in New Orleans and then on to Memphis to show the lady Sun Studios.

Re: 1994 S&M Widowmaker 24

Hmm - lemme guess, you're swapping out the Profile sprocket & cranks for mid 90's GTs?
Whatever you do, I look forward to seeing how you make this over.

Exitebike. Classic Nintendo. Got it hooked up to the flatscreen.

Let me say that I still enjoy CrackerJacks. But dig the old prizes better. You know, the ones we can't have since that one kid ate one.

Yeah I was quite upset at the crappy folding toy(if you could call it that) That came in my box of crackerjacks. I'm with Ryan the old toys were better.

Re: 1994 S&M Widowmaker 24

I figured it was, mine is as well. It's weird how much a difference a black rim can make in the look of tire size. Yours looks skinny to me, while mine looks like a monster truck. Also, oddly enough, in your 3rd pic you have far more clearance between the tire & fork crown than I do.
You've made some nice changes Ryan & I still have to say cleanest Widowmaker out there.
Maybe TOO clean!

Re: 1994 S&M Widowmaker 24

Bill-
Yeah black rims really beef up the look of tires(see my Deployer), we'll see how the skinwalls take to the chrome rims tonight.

I just checked out your tire clearance and you're right! There is a difference! You think we might have different forks? I know mine aren't Pitchforks, they're the standard S&M 24"ers.

Re: 1994 S&M Widowmaker 24

I'm fairly certain mine aren't Pitchforks either. I'll double-check my tire size as well tonight, but I don't think Tioga made anything larger than 24x 2.125. I do like a fat tire up front, just odd that my 2.125 seems fatter than any other 2.125 I see.
