2010 SE Racing Floval Flyer XL 24

One of 24 made, PlanetBMX edition SE Floval Flyer XL cruiser race bike.

This Floval Flyer is the 2010 model PlanetBMX edition XL model in baby blue with a 22" top tube. Only 24 were made.
I built up this bike as my racer for the 2011 season.  The drivechain of this machine uses the new Profile Racing Elite model cassette hubs laced to Alienation rims.  180mm Profile race cranks with a 41/17 gearing using Profile's new Outboard Euro bottom bracket and 5 arm spider with a MCS chainring, along with Bullseye Elite X-Lite pedals.  The steering section of this bike starts off with a semi-intergrated Cane Creek sealed headset, and is finished off with SE Racing products- Landing Gear forks, SE race stem, and Powerwing cruiser bars.  Brakes are Tektro with a Odyssey braided linear cable and clear Kool Stop pads. The bike is finished off with Tangent pads, and a new Crit Plate.

Sweet race bike Ed. Supplying some parts for your build was The least I could do for all you do for my builds. Pictures don't do this bike justice it is really nice!

Outstanding build and great color combo!
One of the nicest I have seen in the past year or two + this is definitely a raceable machine.
Love the old school style meets new performance standards concept.


Really like that Profile gold spider/blue MCS chainring combo.

Would love to do the same (gold spider + blue MCS chainring) on my 2010 Redline Flight cranks with a standard Redline euro BB.
Do you know if there is a company that makes a similar gold spider for my cranks??

I really dig your build on this Floval XL.

Please tell me if ever you are interested in selling the frame & fork or if you have another similar XL size frameset for sale.

I've checked the new ones out but these older school production years are more interesting for what I have in mind.
