1981 Toowoomba Bicycle Company Cobra

Basic Cobra BMX

My first rebuild. Got the bike as a bare frame and crank. Used to own one as a kid and have been looking to find one and do one up for quite some time. Just finished it about a week ago. Not original colours but turned out a treat!
CW Bars, Viscout Dominator seat, skyway 2 tuffs with sealed bearings, GT stem. Steel frame and crank, VP beartrap pedals.

Not a mongoose. Although Cobras were a mongoose copy. Sort of Aussie mongoose if you like. I think the madison brand was the same deal too. But definitely no mongoose. Totally different serial numbers etc.

Re: 1981 Toowoomba Bicycle Company Cobra

I have what looks like a '77 Mongoose Motomag but the serial number isn't on the bb , it's on the bottom of the rectangular chainstay yoke. Is yours the same way?

Looking for : Bomber #'s , NOS/good condition white (red ,white and blue decals) 50's Seiss bike light , Huffy Bandit tire , Camel Supercross stuff , maybe a 20" rear suspension frame.
