1996 Mongoose Villain
1996 Mongoose Villain
Original Mid School survivor (c.1996)
I picked this 'Goose up a few years ago. It was pretty much in the same original condition as you see now. Original owner rarely rode it and it's spent most of it's life in storage so when I saw it was almost completely original, right down to the (non-perished) Mongoose DMC gum walls, I couldn't resist! The fact that it also features original Mongoose/Skyway Tuffs was a bonus.
Since purchased I 've added Odyssey chainwheel, new 1st Gen Odyssey cables, Odyssey bar end caps and Odyssey Triple Traps. Now just need to find another set of pegs and it'll be complete.
Great bike to ride. Definitely won't be letting this one go! Thanks for looking!
Update, 17th Dec 2011: Made a few changes to the Villain: Swapped the kneesavers and added Mongoose pedals, purple AME grips and Trik Topz dice and rear pegs. (First three pics are most current) I think I'm done, for now....

Re: 1996 Mongoose Villain
1993-1995 Villains were some of the best flatland bikes Mongoose built. Very underrated. This is a beauty!
