Re: Show us your rarest bike!
Saw what looked like a 70s Marin bmx bike locked to a sign downtown which caught my interest, did a search here & didn't find anything near that old. If I see it again, should i leave a note, see if they want to sell? Pretty beat up, but would probably clean up OK.

1994 Hoffman Condor (begging for a resto) This is from the first bath of frames made in house at hoffman bikes in oklahoma. They only made bikes in house from 94-96. Super Rare, not more than a handful of these things left.
Any Hoffman Love or Patriot Bars?

Im pretty sure its an 82 cause thats when the K serial Japan T/A was made,i reckon some people would think or assume it to be a 83 cause it has the curved break bridge the same as the 83 USA T/A.
If anyone feels im wrong bring it on

Re: Show us your rarest bike!
Not rare like sushi, but there isn't one listed in the museum. Notice the similarities to the early GT and JMC frames. 1978 CYC Ames Stormer:
I sold this one about 3 months ago.

challengers came with a 10 dollar canti add. i've only seen one other with 990's with the wishbone on top and it didn't have the correct decals. rumor is they were made special for neil wood.
glad the holmes came through! enjoy and pics when its built!

i think that frame is an "arsonist". late 80's early 90's. they were out of the east coast i wanna say PA. they used to have a yellow d.t. decal and a headtube decal that was an amoco gasoline logo knockoff

Re: Show us your rarest bike!
Here is mine
Oldest known ELF and its a 24" cruiser. ELF only made 3 of these in 83 for Brian Lewis to race, he race 2 of them and they got thrashed and this one was NOS. It was purchased from Brian Lewis himself and I bought it from a member here on the museum
I am currently collecting parts to build it

Re: Show us your rarest bike!
Maybe my OG finish 83 Nomura with Titron pedals, NOS before install Bottema skate park fork, OG finish starbars ESP second gen profiles and Mike Salido's Factory race team only Titanium flange graphite tuff wheels.
Or my looptail Boss
BOSS lOOPTAIL from Darin Chans collection finally done...bought all the parts on this site. I had a nickle looptail Boss back in 1981 that I had bought off Carlo Luchia at a race in San Jose at the Fairgrounds. This was one of my favorite race bikes BITD NCB gold.
