There's only one tongue

Jokes aside it's the bike I wanted. I have no urge to own bikes I may or may not enjoy riding just because they are rare or some sort of status symbol with regards to what they cost.

We just moved into our new 70's style house. Figured the colors of the carpet and the wall would complement the sport.

Re: Show us your rarest bike!

So rare, I'm not even sure what it is! big_smile

I know it is a Gary Cook stainless steel prototype. 26" cruiser (great for tall guys like me; the seat tube is over 21-inches center to top). No serial number, model number, branding / badging of any sort. Bobby Cook (Gary's son) says he and his dad had a couple of these welded after they closed down Cook's Quality Products...sometime in the 1990s.

But that's all I know. OH!!! Also has another rare item: a brass plated CW Racing layback seatpost. While CW made a few yellow brass plated frames and forks, and maybe handlebars, I haven't seen or heard of their layback seatpost brass plated. It is believed to be a custom order.
