Re: CW-CW-CW-CW Show yours!! CW-CW-CW-CW

Thanks guys! this is one of the CW retro series that was available a few years ago... I heard that at the last minute Buff backed out of the signature series or something like that.. but I already had mine...
That's why I have a mix of ol/new/retro parts on it. OG VDC bars but the finish was shot so i had them powdered orange- but im kinda glad they dont match 100% most of our bikes never had the same blue/ orange/ green/ purple... Just need to get around to getting a new front brake cable and then run it thru the potts mod stem bolt

I ll start.

Blue 1980 CW tfl - stamped at the bb instead of drops.  whats unique about this one is, when they stamped it they messed up on the 1 in first digit and tried to cover it up with a 0 as in 1980 model.

they started pushing out tfl in 1981.

powder is being stripped and painted black with chrome decals and chrome parts.  (being resto'ed at the moment)

Wrong decals on this bike - Got it like that.

this frame is a 22tt.

Thanks. Pondering keeping the mags or using white spokes with purple tires. I know spokes ride much better, but mags have a cool factor.

This is going to be a great rider once I get my new cables and chain and get the brakes adjusted.

You may want swap the seat out, if you plan ride it a lot or are a big guy. Those seats are really hard to come by.
