1980 Blue Max

1980 blue max

Here is a 1980 blue max that really reminds me of my old 1977 goose. Actually I didn't know that blue max existed until I  got a hold on this one a few years ago.I guess it is because blue max was specifically issued on the military base only.
* race inc handlebar
* acs z-rims
* dia-comp mx1000
* compIII TIRES
* kkt pedals
* repro decals

Re: 1980 Blue Max

Hey "Admin"?

How is this an '80 bluemax, when it has the newer rear dropouts with the stepdown holes?
They didn't come out till mid/late '82 and '83.
Check out my 2 '82 bluemax's and compare(1 with old drops and a extremely low serial #, the other with the new drops and a high #).

Either way this is a nice bluemax and saved as a fave!

I'm looking for the following frames, frame & forks or completes by BMX products:
MotoTrac (nickle or chrome), Racer-X or a Super-X (with the double gussets).
Thanks wink

No problem, just trying to help keep the museum straight on it's years and bikes.
Ur welcome, now you need to change the year of '80 on your submission of this bluemax to '82.
