1999 K2 DMC Pro
1999 K2 DMC Pro
1999 K2 Dennis McCoy Signature Pro, custom build. One of my daily riders, though it's short (19.75" TT). Spec'd closely to McCoy's own Gravity Games unit (if it's good enough for him, it's gotta be good enough for me). K2 DMC Pro frame and fork (a TIG welded Kastan creation, I believe), Hoffman Lovehandles, Profile crank set and sprocket, Dia-Compe 990s, the now defunct Araya RB-J1 Himiko rims, DK Trail stem and 14mm hubs, etc. A snappy, solid roller; riding this bike always makes me smile - I just dig the way it feels. Hope you like it. - Kevin

i have my K2 DMC frame and fork still in the box. i also have a mongoose dmc frame that i might build up. its sand stone brown in color.
i put a new set of chrome K2 DMC forks on my dyno slammer build.i wanted to make a retro
dyno. i put 1985 stickers on it.
Oh - build those puppies, OldSchool! They're kind of heavy compared to today's new school rides, but I love the way they handle...would love to see some pics of the Dyno.
Also: if you happen to have your Mongoose out of the box for any reason, please snap some shots of it. I'd love to see that, too.

That Dyno is fantastic!
I love the clean, chrome look and the K2 forks are perfect on it (from a "retro look" perspective).
Super cool - thanks for posting that!

OldSchool-
Your white Colin Winkleman ride is phenomenal. What a great bike - a fitting tribute to a real rider.
I tried to post a comment, but for some reason couldn't start a thread on the bike, so I'm posting my admiration here (lol). Really a great build...

Very cool bike! I've got a F/F too with a few parts so far that will be built someday. Looking at yours makes me want to get to it.

You should really build yours. I always gravitate back to this bike for fun times. It's a blast to ride. Here's a favorite pic of mine.

I never noticed that. ironically, it's one of the snappiest brakes I've got.

Re: 1999 K2 DMC Pro
I just picked up a new in the box frame and fork. Pro signature same color as yours. I was amazed at how lite the frame was. looks heavier then it is. Im going to post some pics soon. I have dmc 4pc bars chrome for it. going to take my time and build it right. old school all the way.
