Anyone with one of the 2012/13 usa made FIT frames with the wide back end have issues with using and setting up brakes on it?
I have an Inman and use EVO2s without issue. I'm also using a 1.90 rear tire, if that helps.

How do you like those tires? I had them on my 24 and they prematurely exploded on their own.

I like the light weight but the tread thickness is pretty weak. Glass on the ground and KHE spells disaster

I was running 100psi in both. I unload my bike.......start pedaling and about 20ft later the sidewall blows out. Sounded like a gun went off. There is about a 6" rip in the sidewall.

if you're the original owner of the tires, they might send you out a new tread under warranty. sounds like they'd help you out.

i run 60-70 psi and haven't had any issues with 20" and 26" KHE so far ... besides hitting some glass. I think you're safe

Inman is the longest frame I have owned thus far in a 20"! Yea it said and measures at 21.625 and they have another model that is whatever .875....yea I agree weird measurements...I think its printed on the box...I got mine from gabe and he sold out of that size in the inman.......I'll check the Box..but it does measure more than 21.5 with a tape...

Re: Post your FIT BIKE CO bikes here!!!
Are you measuring the topside of the toptube or the middle of the tube?
Just like center of spindle to center of rear axle

It's an awesome frame for dirt--has that midschool Dirtbike/TrailBoss feel to it. I love the way mine handles.

Re: Post your FIT BIKE CO bikes here!!!
They are s&m made in merica. The 20.8 will have a wheelbase closer to a 20.6 or .75 because of the angles. I'm contemplating one or a btm in the size above 21" so it will feel like a 21

Re: Post your FIT BIKE CO bikes here!!!
No it's cool. I was just gonna say if it reads something crazy something is off and that's manufacturer defect. Send back.
That is all. Inmans are badass real traditional geo and I think a 36t will fit with fat tires. Cool with me.

The Inmans are being discontinued. S&M/Fit are dumping what they have left in stock. At this point, they are out of all of the 21.5" frames. If anyone's thinking about one, now is the time to get one.

Re: Post your FIT BIKE CO bikes here!!!
I just bought a 21" Inman a week or so back, I haven't had an opportunity to take any better pics, but I snapped this one when a new indoor skatepark opened up the other day. Since this pic was take the front wheel, forks and stem have been swapped out.
The bike feels awesome, I love it. The back end length makes it feel like my race bike and after not riding park for ages I was still able to throw 540 tail taps. I'm super happy with it.
