This build has just started.  I wanted black, but I'll settle for this.  More to come.

My bike from 1987-88. The frame and fork took an extended “rest” in my cousin’s shed where luckily they were stored under an oil-leaking lawnmower which preserved it reasonably well. Chrome is thin, stickers faded, and paint scratched, but still shines up pretty good. Cut off the rear standers long ago (because I still ride it, I can’t say I regret the choice!). Also, the bottom fork peg mounts are crazy uneven!!!

Had to come up with some replacement parts but was not concerned with going era-correct (except the Nippon from Lou4130) and just wanted to preserve the look from that time so went with Hoffman kneesaver bars and a chrome Haro lineage front wheel. I still had some OS gems like my old rear super pro laced to RL Edge/freecoaster hub, Redline flights and sprocket, and stem.

It rides pretty well but holy moly it is a lot heavier than I remember!!!

Here's a older Fred blood I slapped together few months back . Still have original seat and wheels as well ..just didn't like the look of them so swapped to the mags .

Picked this up on classifieds from a fellow seum member.bought it for the wife so she could go ride with when i take out a 20" bike but prefers to use the blocks flyer i got for her.Closest thing i got to a carpet queen...until i get a front  pink tuff for it:D

I scored a complete General pad set yesterday and I have never seen a complete set before.  Anyone know how scarce these are?  Mounted to my Hustler for effect....

Rare indeed.  Did they come on General Shadow 500's?  Im guessing so.  I didn't know Shadows existed til I looked in what bike might have come with these.  Im a big General fan too

My buddy I got em from said he got em off of a General Hustler years ago at a goodwill type place.  Other then the white and pink one a few posts up from here, I have never even seen a general with one pad let alone all 3.  I have an 84 Hustler Pro as well but the colors match this one better...
