Re: Hutch Trick Star thread

Here's a look at my chrome and white Trick Star from college days - Southwest Texas State, Jackson Hall, 1988.

http://uploads.bmxmuseum.com/user-images/90304/trick_star_015dc1fbfa15.jpg

Recently, at the Texas BMX Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, Woody Itson brought out easily one of the most famous bikes of all time and put it on display as part of the bike show!!

For those of you that's never seen it up close, enjoy these pics!

This bike always makes me think of the song, "The Devil Went Down to Georgia."

I tell you this my friends, I was not there to see it, but the freestyle battle that occurred that day was the stuff of legend.

"And the devil bowed his head because he knew that he'd been beat.

And he laid that golden Trick Star on the ground at Woody's feet!

"Woody said, hey come on back if you ever wanna try again."

"'Cause I told you once you son of a bitch, that I'm the best that's ever been!"

"Fire on the mountain............"

LOL!!!
