1988 Dyno Detour

1988 Dyno Detour New York Islanders theme

This bike started out as a black detour with purple decals but has changed a bit. Im a huge NY Islanders fan and just wanted to do this for fun. I had a lot of fun hunting the parts down and watching it come together. after it was done I rode it a few times. I heard about a local meet and greet with the players and knew I had to get it signed. So the whole team signed it... minus 3 or 4 players. Hope you enjoy the photos. Parts are as follows:
1988 dyno detour frame set with pretzel bars
GT performer seat post
White dominator seat
Skyway mags
AM'E Tri grips
Odyssey 2000 calipers
Odyssey RX3 levers
GT power cranks (NOS before install)
GT pegs (NOS before install)
GT racing pedals
GT bottom bracket (NOS before install)
Sugino chain wheel
Haro power disc
blue dice
Custom colored decal by Ultrahive
Custom NY Islanders log0 on chain disc and head tube by Ultrahive

Great looking Dyno! My favorite one I've seen ever.
After cracking my Mongoose, I got a Dyno F/F when you could first order them BITD, purple with some new white Tuffs and whatnot and never really liked the look. Yours is smokin' though! cool
